JULY 21,2025
Over 67,000 cases of a popular deo. brand are being pulled from shelves nationwide due to safety concerns, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
A.P. Deauville, the manufacturer behind Power Stick, has issued a voluntary recall of three roll-on antiperspirant deodorants after the FDA flagged potential issues with manufacturing practices.
❌ What Products Are Affected?
The recall includes the following Power Stick deodorants:
- 21,265 cases of Power Stick for Her Roll-On Antiperspirant Deo – Powder Fresh
- 22,482 cases of Power Stick Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant – Spring Fresh
- 23,467 cases of Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection Roll-On Antiperspirant Deodorant
These products were sold across the U.S. at major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, and Dollar Tree.
Deodorants-Why the Recall?
According to the FDA, the issue lies in “cGMP deviations” (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), which are vital standards ensuring products are safe, effective, and made consistently. Any deviation raises serious concerns about product quality, ingredient accuracy, and overall safety.
What Should Consumers Do?
If you’ve purchased any of the recalled deodorants, the FDA recommends discontinuing use immediately and safely discarding the product.
