Senatorial Race:2025 Midterm Elections Return

Former Senator Bam Aquino follows with 13,383,996 votes. He’s showing strong momentum in his political comeback. Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa holds third place with 12,344,449 votes. His strongman image appears to resonate once again with voters. In fourth place is ACT-CIS Party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo, who has earned 10,570,713 votes so far. His rise highlights his continued popularity, even after shifting from media to politics.

Comelec Ensures Smooth and Transparent Vote Counting

Despite isolated reports of machine glitches and overvoting, Comelec assures the public that the voting and counting process remains largely smooth. More than 10,000 election returns have already been processed. Updates continue to come in from different parts of the country.

Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco emphasized the commission’s commitment to transparency. He said that transmission from remote areas is still ongoing but remains stable. The partial and unofficial results are made available through Comelec’s transparency servers.

Public Sentiment and Political Dynamics

Early results suggest that name recognition continues to play a big role. Voters appear to trust personalities they’ve seen in government or media. Analysts note that familiarity, visibility, and public trust likely influenced the early numbers. Although these are not final results, the current tally paints a picture of a race that is competitive but also predictable.

All eyes are now on the remaining unprocessed returns. The next updates may determine whether these early leaders will secure seats in the Senate. NOWTREND-Voting Ends in 2025 Midterm Elections
