When Will You Receive Your Social Security Check in June?
If you rely on Social Security June payments, here’s what you need to know. Over 69 million Americans, including retirees and individuals with disabilities, will receive their Social Security benefits this month. The Social Security Administration (SSA) typically issues payments on a structured Wednesday-based schedule, helping recipients budget effectively.
Meanwhile, around 7.4 million low-income Americans receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI)—about half of whom also receive Social Security benefits.

No SSI Payment in June 2025
If you’re an SSI recipient, you won’t receive a payment this June. Why? Because two SSI checks were sent in May:
- May 1 (for May)
- May 30 (advance for June, since June 1 is a Sunday)
This skip is intentional, not an error. Your next SSI payment will resume on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. | retirement checks June
