Binghamton Firefighter Dies After Battling Devastating Main Street Blaze
Binghamton, N.Y. — A Binghamton firefighter tragically lost his life Wednesday night while responding to a massive fire on the city’s Main Street.
Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham announced the heartbreaking news in a Facebook post, writing, “This is an unspeakable tragedy, and our hearts are broken for the firefighter’s family.” The firefighter was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
